My daughter just moved to Decatur, Ga., near Atlanta. I flew to Colorado and helped her drive her car and trasport her cat there. We had a great time and the cat behaved much better than I expected. I stayed three days and flew home on the 4th of July.
I'm back home now somehow wishing I was still there. It seems when your children are growing up you wonder if they'll ever become adults and move out. Then a couple years after that happens, you realize that you love them more than you can describe in words. I wish I knew this when they were 14.
